Mondays are not always bad-

I have troubles with Mondays. Most weeks I would rather just lay in bed and pretend it's still the weekend. I drag myself out of bed about 10 minutes before I leave my house and go to work looking about like that.

Well today has been a pretty funny Monday for several reasons. The first is the lovely picture to the left. Please laugh. I keep looking at it and laughing. Jerry was trying to explain the directions for the game we were about to play. Let's just say this is what happens when there is an A.D.D. person with the camera (that person may or may not have been me) and friends that get easily distracted. This is our first annual live nativity scene... awesome!




I got to work and was minding my own business, playing with this awesome link Mic sent over, http://www.vw.com/vwhype/babymaker/en/us/, looking out the window of my second floor office when out of nowhere 2 men appear in a cherry picker. So I jumped out of my seat a little bit and started freaking out. The nice men in the cherry picker graciously laughed and then looked away to go about painting. Here is a what I am talking about, I am pretty sure it's called a cherry picker.















So for lunch I went to meet Elizabeth at Cafe Carolina. Now this was great, we had delicious food and interesting conversation. We decided to stop by Swoozie's before heading back to work, after all they wrap packages and call it 'swoozing them up.' We get in my car and head to Swoozie's. After laughing at the funny cocktail napkins, we leave. We are just driving along talking and having a great time. We are about to pull into my work neighborhood when all of the sudden I pause and say 'what are we doing?' Ivey looks at me and said 'I don't want to go to work with you! I have to go back to my work!!' We forgot to get her car. Michayla says we are special.

To make the day complete, I was just told I am on the 'SWAT' team at work. I don't even know what that means but it was pretty comical to me. All I can picture is the movie SWAT with burning buildings and bad guys and guns.

Maybe next Monday won't be bad. Maybe this Monday has set a precedent moving forward that Mondays will just be funny.
